Verb practice
February 19, 2008 — haythornegNow you have played the games, see if you can write these sentences in French. For each one, first decide and write down which TENSE you think it is in (choose from perfect, present and near future). Then be sure which pronoun you need (je, vous, il etc). Then use the various reference options to put the verb into the correct tense and person.
For example:
I go.
This is about now, so it must be the PRESENT TENSE. The equivalent of “I” in French is “je”. I’m going to check in the back of my text book, making sure I’m looking at the present tense column…. the answer is “je vais”
1. I play
2. I played
3. I am going to play
4. he played
5. I am going to work
6. I bought
7. we bought
8. I speak French
9. you (polite) speak French
10. I am going to go to France
If yo complete all these, post a comment with 3 more verbs for everyone to translate.
